Howdy, Volunteer! We’re excited that you’re going to be a part of Mud Challenger! We’ve assembled this quick guide to help answer any questions you may have about volunteering and to provide you with the details you need to know.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we can’t wait to see you on event day!! 🙂
IMPORTANT NOTE: Ironically, Tough Mudder has decided to move their event to a location very close to ours on the same event day. Their traffic will be following the same route at the same time. It is IMPORTANT that you disregard any signage. The best way to get to Mud Challenger is by following the directions links below.

What will I be doing?
We have provided job descriptions below.
You will probably be doing one of these.
Check-in Coordinators are the friendly first impression at Mud Challenger. You’ll be based at our Registration and Check-in tent and greet Participants and Spectators as they arrive. This is a very important job at Mud Challenger, but also an easy and fun one!
Our Lead Registration Coordinator will meet with you before your shift begins to explain everything. It’s simple, but super important and we are sure you will have a ton of fun! 🙂
Obstacle Coordinators are the ones who help us keep our participants safe. As an Obstacle Coordinator, you’ll be in the center of all the action on the course at one of our bigger obstacles. Help encourage and cheer-on participants, take photos, and make new friends.
When you arrive at Mud Challenger on event day, our Course & Safety Lead will bring you out to your Obstacle on the ATV. Depending on which obstacle you are at, you may also have your own walkie-talkie. 🙂
